The Madrigal Branch was founded by the secret child of Olivia Cahill named Madeline Cahill. After the great Cahill fire in 1507 ,after her four children who were now out to get each other left the island Olivia was secretly pregnant with a fifth child who she dreamed would one day bring unification to the Cahill clan once more.
